The Bayou Banner is a bi-monthly newsletter produced by Colour sergeant Tom
Brooks. Tom's insightful and humorous insights provide a fantastic link to the
Canadian involvement in the American Civil War.

The webmaster obtains his copy for inclusion here in various formats at various
times. The May issue for instance has been scanned in and although I'm not too
pleased with the result, it is at least available by pushing the Bayou Banner button
below.

To view the March issue of the "Banner", click
here and a PDF file will open. If you
are unable to activate the link, try clicking
here and you will be directed to the
Adobe Acrobat site where you can download the plug-in. You only have to
download the plug-in once and all future PDF files will open.

On occasion, PDF files open without picture attachments or with some minor
changes to the text such as odd symbols where there should be a comma or a quote
sign. If you choose, you can access the current "Banner" in a page by page scanned
image format by pushing the Bayou Banner button below.

No matter how you read it, we hope that you enjoy "The Bayou Banner"
