Alcohol: The 10th LA Co C re-enactment unit allows moderate use of alcohol consumption.
However, drunken, profane or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. Members will
refrain from consuming alcohol during program hours.

Tobacco: please refrain from or hide the use of modern day cigarettes in the presence of
the public.

Illegal drugs: the use of any illegal drug by any member of the 10th LA Co C re-enactment
unit will result in that member being asked to leave the camp. A written report will be
submitted by the officers and senior NCO present to the American Civil War Historical
Re-enactment Society.  The member in question may be asked to leave the 10th LA Co C
re-enactment unit altogether.

Weapons, Powder and Safety:

1)        Weapons are to be cleaned and inspected prior to the beginning of each day. The   
common practise will be to clean the weapons upon returning to camp after a battle.
2)        Members will obey the safety rules as set out by the Army of Northern Virginia, 1st
Division.
3)        No discharging of weapons in the camp.
4)        Members will refrain from rolling cartridges in front of the public.
5)        Do not roll cartridges near open flame.
6)        Use only FF or FFF powder.
7)        DO NOT USE THE NEW SIX-SIDED PERCUSSION CAPS.
8)        All weapons will be secured and out of site from the public when not in use.
9)        Do not allow the public to handle or fire the weapons.
10)      To participate in any battle, a member must take part in the prerequisite drill.
