Zouaves were mostly French Soldiers who wore uniforms similar to The French Soldiers during the Crimean War.
Both Federal and Confederate forces had Zouave regiments. On of the Most Famous is the New York Fire Zouaves
who made their claim to Fame during the 1st Battled of Manassas.
The Confederates had the most famous Zouave Regiment.
The First Special Battalion Wheats Tigers also known as The Louisiana Tigers. The Tigers made a name for
themselves during the 1st Battle of Manassas and During Stonewall Jackson's Shanandoha Valley Campaign.
Wheats Tigers Made such a name for themselves with there rowdy demeanour and savage fighting that all Zouaves
